Nana Cosplay started making historical costumes 30 years ago. At age 50 she entered her first Costume Contest at Wizard World - Austin. Her Darth Talon took First Place Overall Female. Since then she has had enough first place wins to achieve Master Costumer status. She especially enjoys creating mashups of characters in historical costumes and cosplaying with her family. She currently is proud to serve as Chairman of the Cosplay Committee for NISD Nerdvana Con, Northside's literary con for secondary students.
