Nana Cosplay entered her first cosplay contest at age 50 as Darth Talon and was awarded 1st Place Overall Female.  That began a 16 year journey of designing, creating, and competing that has garnered numerous awards and cosplay opportunities.  Best known for her sewing skills, Nana likes to put popular characters in  historical costumes, gender swap, and add surprise elements to her cosplays. She proudly serves as Chair of the Cosplay Committee for NISD's Nerdvana Con, a convention geared towards secondary students. At 66, Nana is proof that cosplay is a hobby for everyone.
