ADULT / TEEN (OVER 13 YEARS OF AGE) CONTEST CATEGORIES

‍

Novice Category Qualifications (Adult/Teen):

• Participants in this category are the least experienced in competition.
• You may never have won a cosplay contest award, or have competed in less than 3 past contests.

Journeyman Category Qualifications (Adult/Teen):

• Won an award equivalent to novice or journeyman in another contest
• Have participated in more than 3 contests prior
• Have made more than 10 costumes

‍

Masters Category Qualifications (Adult/Teen):

• Have won an intermediate (journeyman) level or higher award in any other cosplay contest
• Work professionally in a field related to cosplay
• Have crafted more than 30 costumes, regardless of any awards

All entrants must meet at Panel Room B at 3 PM on Saturday for pre-judging.

There will only be limited sign up the day of the convention, so if it is best to pre-register if you would like to compete.

KIDS (UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE) CONTEST:

Kids Cosplay Contest:

• Registration closes at 2pm, Sunday, June 25th, 2023
• Participants will be expected to begin lining up near the stage at 3:30 pm on Sunday June 25th. Event staff will assign participants a number and direct them where to line up.
• One parent or guardian may accompany their child at all times. If any assistance is needed, event staff will be available to assist.

There is no pre-judging for the kids cosplay contest.

We encourage pre-registrations for kids too, however the Kids Cosplay Contest will be accepted on same day signups too.
