Join the Heroes of Texas as they talk about their charity work and cosplay.

12 Noon: Getting Painted Up: A Make Up Tutorial

Adding makeup, FX, body paint, prosthetics, etc into your cosplay can bring a new level of detail to your character creations. This presentation is intended to help start you down the path of learning more about makeup for your character design.

First thing to know – there is seldom one “right” way to do anything, but there are many, many ways to make it harder on yourself. Knowing what product to use, and for what situation, will go a long way to
making sure all of your hard work hasn’t melted off of you by the end of day at the con.

5:00 PM: A Jedi Experience

I Am Not the LastJedi, an Interactive Jedi Experience & Shows/Padawan Training: The Jedi of Jakku Temple are seeking younglings (ages 5-12) who are strong in the Force. Train with the Masters to defend the galaxy and watch stories from Ancient JediT exts, passed on to Rey, unfold before your eyes and help protect ancientknowledge from falling into the hands of the Dark Side! Children (and their parents)love our Interactive Jedi Experience/Padawan Training. It's fun, it's free, andit brings families back each year!

So You Want to Be a Jedi... or Sith:

Adults (18+) come take a closer, behind-the-scenes look into our show, I Am Not the Last Jedi. Train with us in the basic of Saber Guild: Jakku Temple's Lightsaber Choreography System and how we combine stage combat with cosplay costuming for our kids show: an Interactive Jedi Experience. You too can be a Jedi... or a Sith and use your love of Star Wars for charity to give back to the community.

5:00 PM: Geekgasm Trivia Hour with Gemmi Galactic!

Assemble your team of geek trivia masterminds and come ready to claim the Top Geek title! 2-6 players per team. All questions are fill-in-the-blank. Teams will turn in their answer sheets at the end of each 10-question round for scoring. After 4-5 rounds we will announce our winners! Winning Team receives a prize package from GACC!
